Agreement to provide the highest resolution photographic images for
the mural and wallcovering markets.
Rockaway, new Jersey, United States
– 5/19/06 Roysons, one of the world’s premier
wallcovering and digital printing companies today announced the
signing of a license agreement with Gigapxl Corp. which grants
Roysons a license to Gigapxl images for the mural market. The
license includes Roysons use of Gigapxl images in the new brand
division of HDmurals.
“The licensing
of Gigapxl’s image portfolio with Roysons demonstrated that
innovation wallcovering and digital printing market is highly
compelling,” said Graham Flint, co-founder of the Gigapxl Project.
“We are very pleased to enter into an agreement that reflects a new
approach of providing the highest resolution photographic images and
to continue to provide the market with novel images.”
“Being associated
with the Gigapxl Project is exciting for many reasons,” said Roy
Ritchie Jr, Executive VP of Roysons. “Graham and Catherine (Aves)
have created a truly compelling story in their efforts to document
North America with such detail. These images are unique in that the
resolution affords us the ability to create enormous prints without
any loss in quality.”
“HDmurals
recently proved this by printing a Gigapxl image measuring 25’ high
by 50’ wide,” continues Roy Ritchie Jr. “The image held it’s
photorealistic quality with clarity never seen before at those
dimensions.”

murals will be available from Roysons via their new product line,
HDmurals (www.HDmurals.com).
